More than 30 years have passed since the last carnival made its way through the streets of East Cowes, but the local community is exploring plans to revive the annual procession.
A meeting is being held at the Parkside Pavillion on Wednesday 9th October, starting at 18:00, to gauge just how much interest there is in bringing carnival fun back to East Cowes.
Discussions have been held for several years, but plans have failed to materialise.
Guest speaker on the night will be Paddy McHugh of Newport Carnival who, as a community stalwart, will share his knowledge to those interested in taking the project forward.
All are welcome.
Will the keystone cops be there
