A car has left the carriageway careered straight through a hedge and rolled onto its roof on road on the outskirts of Chale this afternoon (Thursday).
The incident occurred at around 14:47 on Appleford Road near the junction with Niton Road and has seen the car come to rest in a field.
The vehicle in question has ended up far into the field and is currently laying upside down in the mud.
A 19-year-old woman who was driving suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed for a short while.
