Police have closed Bleak Down between Rookley and Niton following a single vehicle collision that has seen a car come to rest on its side this evening (Thursday).
Motorists are being diverted away from the scene whilst recovery of the crashed vehicle is arranged.
The incident, which occurred shortly before 18:45, has resulted in the road being blocked in both directions near to the turn off for Beacon Alley and Roud.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured.
UPDATE – The road has now re-opened following the successful recovery of the vehicle.
