A car has been badly damaged by fire in Upper Ventnor this afternoon (Wednesday).
1 fire appliance from Shanklin was mobilised to Gloucester Road, off Newport Road, at just before 16:35.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to tackle the fire, which began in the engine bay of a Rover 75.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has now stood down from the incident.
