BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR WIGHT BAKES DESPITE LOSS OF SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE

An Isle of Wight bakery business wants to reiterate to its customers that it is still business as usual despite losing access to its social media accounts. Wight Bakes’ Facebook page was hacked last week and subsequently, Facebook disabled both the business account and owner Kerry’s personal account, meaning she couldn’t reply to, send, or view messages. All positive reviews left by happy and satisfied customers as well as pictures of all of Kerry’s specialist bakes were also lost. As a result, and with Kerry struggling to get through to Facebook in an attempt to resolve the situation, she has sent up a new Facebook page called Wight Bakes IOW. Started some 3 years ago by Kerry Crawley, Wight Bakes specialises in bespoke homemade cakes, cupcakes and other sweet treats.
