Ryde Inshore Rescue have assisted a broken down RIB at the entrance to Langstone Harbour this morning (Saturday).
Whilst out on the Solent, UK Coastguard requested that the crew of Ryde Rescue 1 make their way to Langstone Harbour where it was reported that a small rigid inflatable boat had broken down.
Just 2 minutes later the lifeboat was on scene and the search and rescue volunteers were able to quickly establish a tow, taking the casualty vessel and its occupants to a yacht club slipway.
