Oktoberfest is one of the world’s oldest, biggest and longest parties – and the celebrations are heading to GG’s Bar & Restaurant in Newport next week.
Islanders are being given the opportunity to don traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses before linking arms as GG’s throws 3 mega Oktoberfest celebrations on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October 2024 – the Island’s only authentic Oktoberfest parties.
Grab your steins and get ready to immerse yourself in the true spirit of Oktoberfest with imported German beer, Bratwurst sausages and a lively Bavarian Oompah band! These talented musicians will transport you to Munich with their spirited tunes.
Friday evening’s event will run between 18:00-23:00, with an afternoon session on Saturday between 12:00-17:00. The celebrations will continue on Saturday night between 18:00-23:00 – with all 3 events including unreserved seating allowing you to mingle with friends and family.
You can expect plenty of traditional music and games at these fully hosted events at Staplers Road on the outskirts of Newport – plus Bavarian serving girls of course.
