The road has now re-opened in both directions.

I hope everyone is ok, but the last few days the Island has been flooded with popping Chav boy racer cars who seem to think they are on a race track, how can this be legal ?
Lonnie Donegal sang about idiots like this many years ago, I am afraid nothing has changed and won’t until we all have EV’s
What makes you think EV’s will change anything? You can still speed in them, it will just be quieter, making them more dangerous as people won’t hear them coming.
Well it isn’t, is it…
Idiots driving too fast
You may be right….. But until you Know, best not to comment, especially when there has been no comment on injuries, let alone who is involved, people have families and feelings.
I sincerely hope whoever is involved for what ever reason is safe and well.
well you don’t know that best to not comment really .maybe someone on the wrong side of the road. followed a van yesterday he cut every corner through there a total idiot no respect for other road users.
Really hope Everyone is safe.
More bad driving on the IW
I am sure your comments are of great comfort to the deceased mans relatives and friends and the other person involved, Your perverse comment with no facts to hand is an insult, you are one sad sad individual who hides behind a pathetic name, to ashamed to show your face you’re family must be very proud of you.
For you to comment under such circumstances you are sub human.
We all know which party ended up in the helicopter, wishing you a full recovery whomever you are.

Rip. Terrible tragedy.
Who’s the bell end and pratt now, boys? A man has tragically lost his life in an accident we know nothing about and you are straight in with nasty comments. Just about typical of some of the people abusing the benefits of ‘social media’.
Whoosh – plop. The sound of the point being made going straight over your head. No surprise there.
