The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed in Seaview this morning (Tuesday) in response to a medical emergency in the village.
Flying doctors touched down in a playing field off Seagrove Manor Road shortly before 10:25.
They were alerted to the time critical situation at around 10:00.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has a paramedic crew and an operational commander attending the incident.
UPDATE @ 11:45 – The air ambulance has now taken off from Seaview, but has not conveyed any patients.
The incident has been brought to a close.
