The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has been in action on the Isle of Wight this morning (Friday).
An unwell patient – thought to be suffering with a cardiac issue – has been airlifted from Ventnor to the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
The yellow and green helicopter landed on the outskirts of the town at around 08:30 but was in the air less than 25 minutes later, en-route to the mainland.
