Hovertravel have suspended their service this morning (Bank Holiday Tuesday) due to adverse weather conditions.
Strong winds on the Solent mean that the Flyer hovercraft are unable to operate between Ryde and Southsea.
Passengers are advised that tickets will be accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service from Ryde Pier Head.
An update is expected at 09:00 but it’s unclear if the service will resume at that time.
UPDATE @ 12:57 – Services remain suspended with the next update due at 14:00.
UPDATE – Services have resumed as of 15:15.
