Wightlink’s Yarmouth-Lymington service is delayed by as much as 50 minutes this morning (Tuesday) due to a reported technical problem.
Island Echo readers say that the 07:30 sailing from Yarmouth has been unable to sail with passengers, resulting in the ferry leaving port empty.
Now, Wightlink has confirmed that the 08:30, 10:05 and 10:45 sailings from Yarmouth are all delayed by 50 minutes, alongside the 08:45, 09:45, 11:00 and 12:00 sailings from Lymington.
It’s currently unclear what exactly the technical issue is and when it is likely to be rectified.
