4 parked vehicles and a garden wall have been damaged following a collision in Cowes during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
A red Ford Focus ploughed into the cars on Park Road sometime between 01:35 and 01:45, prompting a response from Police, fire and ambulance crews.
The driver of the Focus, a 35-year-old man from Newport, was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, according to Police. However, Island Echo is told that it was in fact a passenger who was taken to hospital. Details of his injuries are not yet known.
The vehicles damaged in the crash include a green Nissan Micra, a black Renault Espace and a blue Renault Megane.
No arrests have been made.

Two questions, are they sure there was a driver and did they catch them? Asking as a good tactic if you crash a car you should not be driving is to get in the passenger seat and say the driver ran off.

The driver has some very big insurance claims coming his way
If he was insured!
