Police are asking members of the public to keep an eye out for 27-year-old Toby Lucas from Newport, who is wanted in connection with an incident in Newport last week in which a car was driven at 2 pedestrians.
As first reported by Island Echo, it was during the early hours of Thursday morning (20th October) that a vehicle was driven at 2 individuals on South Street, leading to ankle injuries for the pair aged in their 20s.
A cordon was erected around the crime scene near TK Maxx with a damaged car wing mirror left on the floor. Island Echo understands the car involved is a BMW 1-Series, although Police have refused to confirm any information about the vehicle.
Over the past few days, officers have conducted a number of enquiries into this incident and, as a result, are now looking to locate and question Toby Lucas as part of the investigation.
Police have been unable to locate the 27-year-old so are now asking the public for help in identifying his whereabouts.

If the police had of bothered arresting toby lucus for smashing up my elderly mother in laws car,when they had video evidence and witnesses but could not be bothered to prostitute maybe this wouldn’t of happened to these poor people . But hey that’s I.o.w police for you.
