Firefighters from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to a residential address in Ryde earlier this evening (Monday).
Crews from Ryde responded to a property on West Hill Road at around 18:10.
1 male was treated on scene for the effects of smoke inhalation.
Checks of the property were carried out with advice given to neighbouring properties.
