Yarmouth RNLI lifeboat has launched to assist a vessel aground off the West coast of the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Sunday).
The All Weather Lifeboat is currently alongside ‘Clementine’ – a 45ft sailing vessel – which is located due West of Colwell Bay.
Volunteer lifeboat crew assembled and launched the Severn-class lifeboat at just before 15:40.
The casualty vessel departed Cowes earlier on today and was heading down the Western Solent.
