VIDEO: WOMAN TO APPEAR IN COURT ACCUSED OF SANDOWN HOTEL ARSON ATTACK


62-year-old Paula Skelly is to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday) accused of arson following a fire at the St Mortiz and Tarvic 2 hotels in Sandown back in September.

Following a lengthy Police investigation, Hampshire Constabulary have now charged Paula Skelly, of Jersey Road in Portsmouth, with arson, contrary to the Criminal Damage Act 1971.

It’s said that on 2nd September 2018 at Culver Parade in Sandown, Miss Skelly committed arson in that without lawful excuse she destroyed by fire the St Moritz Hotel and the Tarvic 2 Hotel of a value unknown belonging to Julion Jayerajah and Farid Barsoum.
