UPDATED: Hovertravel have suspended their cross-Solent service this morning (Monday) due to adverse weather conditions.
Island Flyer has struggled to cross the Solent against a strong headwind, with the 09:00 from Southsea taking some 25 minutes to complete a single crossing.
The decision has been taken to halt the Ryde to Southsea service until further notice.
An update is expected at 11:00.
UPDATE @ 11:31 – Hovertravel’s service remains suspended this morning.

UPDATE @ 12:12 – Services remain suspended. The next update will be at 13:00.
