Head of Marketing Mark Persad received the trophy in the Best Family Ferry Operator category at the ceremony in London.
The Awards, organised by Family Traveller magazine and familytraveller.com, recognise the best family-friendly destinations and providers of holidays and travel in the UK and around the world.

Visit Isle of Wight (VIOW) also won a Highly Commended Award in the Best Domestic Destination category.

Wightlink has been recently recognised in several competitions. It was named the top ferry company in the country for using social media in the Social Travel Britain Awards 2015. Its #wightlive campaign, run in collaboration with Visit Isle of Wight, promoted Island events and boosting tourism by encouraging customers to share photographs online.
Wightlink also took the runner-up prize in the Best Sea Crossing Operator for Groups category in the 2014 Group Travel Awards organised by Group Travel Organiser magazine.
