This December, Mountbatten Isle of Wight warmly invites you to celebrate the memory of those you hold dear at its annual Light up a Life event.
A heartfelt evening of music, readings and candle lighting will take place on Sunday 1st December, from 16:00-18:00, at the hospice on Halberry Lane, Newport.
Each light dedicated represents a life remembered and brings hope to families supported by Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
With a donation, you will help the charity continue providing expert 24/7 care and support to over 2,300 people daily across the Island, including families like Sam’s.
Sam died at just 33 after being diagnosed with aggressive bowel cancer, but his family felt peace and comfort knowing he was well looked after. His family will gather to remember him at this year’s Light up a Life event.
There are several ways to get involved in this year’s Light Up a Life:
• Dedicate a light and donate online at www.mountbatten.org.uk/light
• Attend the event: from 16:00-18:00 on Sunday 1st December
• If you cannot attend, you can still dedicate a light
