Police have been called to a single vehicle collision in which the front wheel of a Mazda MX5 has been ripped clean off following a collision with metal railings.
The crash has occurred on Embankment Road between St Helens and Bembridge, outside the Brading Yacht Haven.
Emergency services were called shortly before 19:30 and it’s thought 1 person has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
The road remains open in both directions whilst recovery is arranged.

Well most people drive along the embankment looking at the harbour instead of where there going so not surprised really
