People jump the lights here all the time. I’ve been crossing with the green man on to have a car come out of Monkton Street around the corner and nearly hit me. No idea if this is what happened here. A lot of people don’t wait for the green man. Just cross.
Agree. Also a genius decided to put a bus stop opposite the Railway pub which basically clogs the whole junction when a bus stops, and cars get impatient waiting behind.
The bus stops for ohhhhhh 2 or 3 minutes at most, if your impatience levels and need for spped cannot wait that long! Then should you be behind the wheel of a potential accident? Just saying! And more buses stopping than usual as the train saga rumbles on, once the train “allegedly” 24th October resumes a bus service removed, should aid for vexation levels, too many Island drivers do not register Red means stop! Something in the Dna perhaps.
Thanks for letting us know ‘Justabloke’. No surprise, see it all the time, lemmings just walk out. They look at me odd as I wait for the green man.
Hope driver is ok, must have been a shock. Can be a few hours before it sets in.
Yes to others, that bus stop needs to go. It’s a nightmare.
