IW Met Service have issued a yellow weather warning for fog across the Isle of Wight overnight and into tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
Patchy fog will develop during the early hours of the morning, initially only affecting low lying valleys and marshland but then becoming more extensive as we move towards dawn.
Some of the fog is expected to become extremely dense locally, possibly moving into the Solent at times.
Driving conditions will be rather hazardous locally with a few travel delays possible including potential disruption to cross Solent travel, especially Red Funnel.
The warning is valid from 02:00 until 11:00 on Tuesday 22nd October 2019.

Oh another 9 hour wait on a ferry thats not aloud to leave or dock…left at 6.30pm got into east cowes at 3.30 am all because cowes harbour wouldnt let us dock …red jet was allowed in why couldnt we follow him but instead turned round and went back to Southampton Made to get off and wait in car park then reloaded..and slowly went to cowes very tired and angry…not even a free coffee…de ja vu!!!!!
ANOTHER GOOD REASON FOR THE TUNNELL
That’s life you can’t help the weather!
If you don’t like it move to the mainland!!
Idiot
Your spelling and grammar is atrocious !
Leave his Grandma out of this.
I’ve often wondered…. in an emergency, could the red funnel dock and offload at Fishbourne ?
That’s torn it then. Police can’t find bike muggers nor catch motorists who out drive them in normal conditions, let alone in the fog
Wait until the bruvs fill up the thousand plus homes in Ryde the police will mess themselves.
