A train fault has led to the cancellation of a number of services on Island Line between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin this evening (Tuesday).
Island Line is down to just 1 train per hour in each direction until the end of today.
The following alterations are necessary:
– The XX:07 services from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin have been cancelled.
– The XX:38 services from Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head have been cancelled.
It is unknown at this time if the problem will continue into Wednesday.
The news comes on the same day that Island Echo reports on a potential multi-million-pound upgrade for Island Line.
