The Isle of Wight’s Charlie Panayi has received a special industry award, marking his role as a ‘jolly good person’ in the estate agency sector.
The annual Agents Giving Fundraising Champions of the Year Awards 2023 were held at Epsom Racecourse on Friday 14th July, where guests enjoyed a fun-packed evening of awards, strictly dancing and a live band.
Charlie, of Newport-based Red Squirrel Property Shop, travelled up to the ceremony after being nominated for the prestigious Outstanding Contribution award, sponsored by propertymark. This award was earmarked for someone who consistently stands out as a jolly good person in the estate agency industry; someone who is kind and selfless and will do anything for others in need.
Much to his surprise, Charlie was announced as the winner last Friday and was called up on stage to receive his award – the winner of which is chosen by the Board of Directors and cannot be entered.
Gathered guests heard how Charlie consistently goes the extra mile and has shown extraordinary determination and motivation throughout the year.
Separately, Red Squirrel Property Shop was up for Best Agency Corporate Social Responsibility Award, but narrowly missed out on the night.

Well done, but in today’s economic climate it is much cheaper to sell a
Property privately, saving thousands of pounds on estate agent fees.
You only need a Solicitor to sell a property.
You can advertise your property yourselves on local papers/websites etc
Who’s the ugly one on the right?
