The Island’s bus operator has made a number of adjustments to Routes 2, 3, 6, 8 and 12, as well as The Needles Breezer.
For those living in rural South Wight villages, the Route 6 will now run later into the evening between Monday and Saturday – with local residents jubilant that they can now go ‘out out’ and still catch a bus home. Additional journeys have been added to the Route 12 service to the West Wight, and there have been some minor changes to timings between Robin Hill and Newport on the Route 8.
Routes 2 and 3 will now go back to their Winter timetables, as will The Needles Breezer (from 5th November to 2nd March). The Downs Breezer, Island Coaster, Shanklin Shuttle and Summer Links will all finish for the season on Saturday.
There are no changes to Routes 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 22, 24, 32, 37, 38, 39
The new timetable comes into effect from Sunday 1st October and runs through to May 2024.
