UPDATED: Hovertravel have suspended their Ryde to Southsea service this evening (Saturday) due to a technical issue.

Passengers are advised to divert to Wightlink’s Fastcat service from Ryde Pier Head.
It’s the first time in a while that Hovertravel’s service has been suspended for technical reasons, but the cross-Solent route was grounded for much of yesterday due to the strong winds.
An update is expected at 19:30.

UPDATE @ 20:30 – Services will resume at 20:45 from Ryde and 21:00 from Southsea for the last crossings of the day.
