The Isle of Wight Council have been forced to close access to the beach at Alum Bay due to storm damage.
The last flight of steps down onto the beach have been damaged as a result of the recent adverse weather.
It is still possible to walk along the path and view the sea and beach, but the steps should not be used to gain access to the beach itself.
Rights of Way will review the damage next week.
