Firefighters from Shanklin dealt with the remains of a beach fire on the Esplanade last night (Thursday).
1 appliance was mobilised to the scene at the bottom of Hope Hill, Shanklin at 22:12.
The single crew put out the remaining embers before returning to station.
It’s no surprise that people are out on the beaches of an evening given the incredibly mild conditions being experienced for the time of the year. Things are set to turn rather chilly next week though…
