One way of keeping your customers bills down. They haven’t been there to check the fault but anticipate power to be back on at 20.00, what they mean is that is when we will flick the switch back on
Luckily we aren’t all driving electricity vehicles and wanting to charge them.
Trial run for the planned electricity and gas cuts coming this winter. The power companies answer to save you money, cut you off rather than reduce the price they charge you.
The modern businesses dream. Supply less of whatever product or service, like water, gas, electricity or sausage rolls, but then charge far more.
Then having less effort in producing the goods or services saving money and time, but still make as much income by raising the prices thus increasing profits to record levels.
Keep the pretence of shortages and people will keep paying more, thinking they are ‘lucky’ to have those rare items or services deemed to be in great demand.
Some of course is genuine, but much a massive con to recoup Covid Gov expenditure.
Also need to cut child tax credits to ensure spongers work more hours.
All services should be underground and in ducting ,this will eliminate unsightly overhead cables and will reduce power cuts from storms but SSE would rather pay the shareholders a dividend rather than to spend on renewing services , they make enough profit ,
Private AND privatisation of ex state run concerns like electricity companies NEED shareholders money to run them as they then get nothing from the Government aka the public.
NO share holder would invest UNLESS they received a dividend each year.
As YOU would not risk your capital for nothing. THINK
There is no risk, the taxpayer foot the bill when these private companies inevitably cock up
Where’s “Steve”, he will tell us what is going on ?
Will be fun having power cuts when everyone has got electric vehicles to charge
