Multiple emergency services have been deployed to Thorness Bay Holiday Park this morning (Saturday) to conduct a missing person search.
A 54-year-old woman was reported missing to Police at around 07:36 this morning, with the subsequent search focusing on the caravan site and beach at the holiday park near Porchfield.
Police were mobilised to the incident as well as Coastguard crews from Ventnor and the Needles. The first crews arrived on the scene shortly before 09:00.
WightSAR have joined the response, as well as the National Air Service Police helicopter.
The NPAS helicopter is still circling the area whilst the efforts to locate the missing person are ongoing.
UPDATE – The woman has been found injured on the foreshore at Thorness and has now been airlifted to hospital.

Actually first crew turned up at 7.25am and they still remain on the scene.
Hope they find her safe and well X
