UPDATED: Motorists are facing delays heading into Newport this morning (Wednesday) due to a road traffic collision at Downend on the Robin Hil roundabout.
2 cars are said to be involved in the smash, which has occurred on the Long Lane exit of the roundabout at the junction with Briddlesford Road.
Police are currently on scene.
Traffic is heavy in the area and therefore motorists should divert, if possible.
UPDATE @ 09:02 – The incident, which has involved a Skoda Octavia taxi and a Kia Cee’d, has been cleared. 1 person has sustained minor injuries.
The road is open in all directions and traffic is flowing.
