A host of Wightlink vehicle ferry sailings between Fishbourne and Portsmouth have been cancelled this afternoon (Friday).
The 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00 from Fishbourne and the 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00 from Portsmouth have all been pulled.
It is understood the problem centres around the prow on St Faith.
A Wightlink spokesperson has said:
“Engineers are working to fix the fault as soon as possible.
“We apologise for causing disruption to customers’ travel plans today.
“We are moving customers with bookings on St Faith to alternative sailings on Victoria of Wight and our Lymington to Yarmouth route.
