Why does it take so long after the event before photos of the suspects are released? I suspect that they are from the mainland and it’s probably well known that their images won’t be shown for ages so the Island is seen as an easy touch. Surely the photos should be published within a few hours.
That would make sense then they could display
their mug shots at the Ferry ports.
The Police should use Forensic Gait Analysis to identify suspects
I suspect there is a lot of red tape, data security, and actually confirming the identity of the suspects, before images can be released.
Not to worry, with the Metropolitan Police force using facial recognition in London, it probably won’t be long before everyone will become a suspect until proven innocent!

Put the tills at the exit for goodness sake, it’s hidden at the back of the shop.
