Hundreds of scooterists packed Ryde Esplanade on Sunday as the traditional Scooter Rally ride-out brought another colourful spectacle to the Isle of Wight.
Vespas, Lambrettas and scooters of almost every colour and design imaginable lined the seafront as enthusiasts gathered for one of the highlights of the annual Isle of Wight International Scooter Rally.
Large crowds turned out to admire the machines before riders fired up their engines and headed away from Ryde as part of the traditional Sunday ride-out.
The spectacle once again brought the sights and sounds of scooter culture to the town, with riders travelling from across the country and further afield to take part in the long-running August Bank Holiday gathering.
This year’s International Scooter Rally has been based at Sandown Airport and runs until today (Bank Holiday Monday), with thousands of enthusiasts visiting the Island over the course of the weekend.
