Freshwater Bay Golf Club welcomed players from across the Isle of Wight for its annual Ladies Invitation Day on Thursday 20th August.
The annual competition sees Freshwater Bay’s ladies invite a player from another Island golf club to join them for the day.
Play was contested in teams of 4, with the scoring based on 1 home player and 1 visiting player on each hole.
Liz Morris and Ann Smith took victory alongside their guests Sue Thompson and Lesley Catchpole, both from Osborne Golf Club, with a winning score of 80 points.
Just a single point separated the top 2 teams, with Jo Wright and Joan Martin finishing runners-up alongside guests Lorrie Hawkins, from Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club, and Carol Walker, from Osborne, on 79 points.
