Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision in Wootton earlier today (Friday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called just before 12:30 to a report of a collision on Kite Hill.
The involved a black pick up truck – possibly a Nissan Navara – and an orange Ford EcoSport. Minor injuries were sustained but the driver of the pick up truck did not stop at the scene.
A spokesperson from the force has said:
“We would like to speak to this driver and anyone else who witnessed this collision, in particular anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
“If you have any information, please call 101 quoting reference 44260420007.”

The sooner islandwide CCTV is rolled out the better
so many law breakers on Island Roads
Oh dear. Enough is Enough is making his thoughtless comments again
My sensible educated comments make sense.
One cannot keep relying on dashcam footage or
doorbell footage.
Islandwide CCTV would help the police solve
such issues
Camera’s everywhere would STOP numpties leaving the
scene of an accident.
Bless you for your irrelevent reply.
Once a Numpty always a Numpty
think enough is enough has always been thoughtless
As well as a self opinionated twat.
Such a shame numpties don’t like to hear the truth
Bless them.
Truth yes speculation and self opinions like yours no.
Is this what happens when twats like yourself cant get help or is it that you just dont have any friends to talk to i guess its probably both.
Always trying to teach law breaking numpties
right from wrong, but more proof the uneducated
cannot be educated
ONCE A NUMPTY ALWAYS A NUMPTY
He’s a massive twat isn’t he. Shouldn’t be allowed to hide behind all the different names he uses. He seems to hate the island, I think he should go and live in London as he appears to have a bit of a crush on sukadik kahunt.
Well said mate.
Another born and bred Numpty
Bless you for your sins
Once a twat always a twat you self opinionated sad little man.
Yes ,usual moronic ramblings
what is wrong with more cctv if it means more offenders caught and more incidents [picked up.
