Police have spent the day investigating the discovery of a man’s body at an address in Sandown.
Officers were sent to the High Street at 09:17 this morning (Friday) after the body was found inside a property.
Investigations have been taking place at the scene and officers are making enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death.
Hanpshire Constabulary has been unable to confirm at this time whether the death is being treated as suspicious, unexplained or natural.
Island Echo is told that forensics officers have been in and out of the flat and garden this afternoon, with the body being removed shortly before 17:20.
The man’s next of kin have been made aware.
