Investigations are ongoing after a man sustained a serious cut to his hand at an address in Ryde yesterday morning (Monday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 07:30 on Monday 27th October to Ryde Pier after a 24-year-old man reported that he had been assaulted a short time earlier at an address on George Street.
The male was passed into the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service where he was treated for an injury to his hand.
Officers stood guard of the town centre address for several hours on Monday.
No arrests have been made at this time, and enquiries remain ongoing.
