A ‘neighbour dispute’ led to Police being called to East Cowes this morning (Wednesday), with officers called back to the same street this afternoon when an injured man was found.
Officers responded at 07:19 to reports of an altercation involving a group of people on Albany Road.
Police attended and spoke to all parties involved.
Following enquiries a man in his 50s was dealt with by means of community resolution for a public order offence. A woman in her 60s was dealt with by means of community resolution for common assault.
Then, at 14:10 this afternoon, Police were called by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service reporting concerns for the welfare of a man who had sustained injuries in Albany Road.
Police were stood down when it was established that there was no third party involvement.

They are a constant pain in the Ass they need to be removed from our road the house is an eyesore …he’s had an open land drain for months which stinks to high heaven ..it was rediculously loud music at 6.30 this morning it’s no wonder he’s got a smacking …nearly done it myself …!!
He didn’t he was asked to turn it down and his lady friend attacked my husband with a dog chain. He was made to apologise for losing it after that caused an injury and raising his hand to SW even though he didn’t physically touch either of them.
Kick them out bloody ignorant people don’t deserve a house there are a lot of decent people that do
Sounds awful, my sympathies.
Housing Associations house a load of
Drug users, loud music players and tenants who park their motors on pavements etc etc
Housing Associations should carry out regular checks on their tenants.
In a few years time when most people are on a Universal Basic Income like China
That will shake them up.
Contact your local councillors as they have the power to investigate what benefits are being paid and if rent benefits are paid it can be stopped ! Under the rules of housing benefit and rent benefit you have to behave and keep an orderly house. We had a same issue , councilor had benefits stopped and they had to move on and housing associations don’t have to house them if they have a bad reputation x
Assuming it’s housing association, tut tut its owner occupied!
Ignorant comment, it’s not housing association it’s owned!
At war at there age, God knows what they have dragged up if they had kids….now we have the next generation that will behave the same way….
Sounds like low life’s to me , but probably with the best view of the solent and harbour so should be grateful as a lot would look after that .
Noisy neighbours seem to be a problem this summer. I don’t understand how people can be so selfish with zero regard for other people. If it was me and I was told to keep the noise down, I’d say Yeah no problem whatsoever. People are cretins.
Great Preston Rd Ryde is a similar Road.
Many of the Council Houses leave their vehicles parked on pavements.
Very dangerous for other motorists and pedestrians.
I noticed even a Fire Engine even had to pull over to one side because of vehicles parked on pavements.
Sometimes because of the Parking on pavements, vehicles cannot flow correctly.
Assuming it’s housing association, tut tut its owner occupied!
It’s not the idiot who keeps harassing local councillor is it? Shame there are so many others who would appreciate a house along that road with the amazing sea views. If they are that much of a nuisance and by the sounds of it may not own the house can the others not take necessary action with the HA to have them evicted.
Spot on!
