Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for information to help locate missing 44-year-old Cherilatia Holloway from Freshwater.
Cherilatia was last seen between 10:15 and 12:00 yesterday (Thursday) at the care home where she lives in Guyers Road, Freshwater.
Her family and officers are extremely concerned for her welfare so we are now asking the public to help find her.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the National Police Air Service helicopter from Bournemouth was tasked to the Easton area of Freshwater last night, with multiple ground units searching the area. WightSAR – the Island’s volunteer search and rescue team – were mobilised late last night to assist in the ongoing search.
Cherilatia is thought to be on foot, but may use public transport. It’s believed she may be in the Newport area, so Islanders across the Isle of Wight are being asked to keep an eye out for her.
She is described as white, of large build with dark hair tied back in a bun. She was last seen wearing a khaki cardigan and black jeans.
Cherilatia may become distressed if you approach her, so if you see her call 999 immediately quoting 44210382734.
UPDATE @ 10:40 – Police have now confirmed that Cherilatia has been found.

Glad the lass has been found – hope she’s doing ok.
