Irate locals fed up with dog poo being discarded by a ‘phantom depositor’ in Seaview have erected a sign encouraging those ‘defiling’ the beauty spot to stop being lazy and to walk to the nearby bin.
The printed sign has been placed on the wall next to the new block of toilets where deposits of the doggy kind are being dumped on a regular basis.
Visitors and local residents have for sometime now been expressing their anger at poo bags being thrown down the side of the building and elsewhere in the area.
Taking matters into their own hands, persons unknown have produced and erected the warning sign that reads:
“Dear phantom depositer of dog shit.
“This is a chance to increase your daily steps! During the length of time it takes you to read this, you could have already deposited your dog shit bag in the allocated dog bin positioned 60 paces from this spot. 4o up the hill to Gully Road plus 20 to the bin.
“Every lovely dog walker but you, The Phantom, make this small effort each day.
“We would be appreciative if you would not defile this beautiful part of the world. Wishing you a wonderful day”.

I suggest as the mess belongs to the dog owner, to scape it up, and post it through their letter box after following them home.
Drop it in their car if windows are open,
And when they fit a camera, then post it to them

We’re having serious problems with two locals whom have been ignoring the law and leaving their dog excrement all over the beach front promenades.
The locals are so fed up of this that they have now got a small group of people who each have their own Go-Pro cameras ready to record these two losers.
The video evidence should be enough to identify and bring a charge against these two idiots with the help of the Islands Environmental Health Officers.
We will be uploading the same video footage to social media platforms so these two anti-social idiots can be named and shamed. And they will be.
If they know who they are name and shame them. Then we can all put our dog poo in their gardens

some years ago we had a problem with a ‘lady’ allowing her dog to poo every day at the bottom of our steps – tired of being polite to her, one morning my husband waited out of sight with the hose pipe. As the dog started he let both the dog and the moronic owner have it. oddly, she never came near us again.
AND…. when you put your dog poo in a bag why is it you then chuck the bag into the bushes and trees. Its worse than leaving the dog poo on the floor. These dog poo bags decorate everywhere. Filthy Lazy People.
Where is the enforcement, it’s a max fine of £1000 for persistent offenders, get the law off its arse and get this person fined. (By ‘law’, I mean whoever is supposed to enforce it)
Who is responsible for enforcing this law? We have only 1, yes 1 Dog Warden! The Police can’t be expected to, they have enough dealing with all the druggies, alchies and speeding motorist idiots. Everyone who owns a dog is responsible for picking up whatever their dog deposits…..if they think, why should I, they don’t deserve to own a dog.

I had this when I lived in east cowes a lady would let her dog poo on my step so I warned her I would follow her home and put in it in her letterbox she said you don’t know where I live but I did so she let her fox do it the next day so I picked it up and put it through her letter box and she stepped in it and all through the house and she reported me to the dog warden he just said don’t go it again and laughed
