Firefighters and paramedics are responding to a road traffic collision off Newport Road in Cowes this morning (Monday).
Emergency services are currently on scene at Northwood Honda, between the main Northwood Garage and Aldi supermarket.
At least 1 person is feared trapped inside a vehicle, according to the fire service. 2 vehicles are said to be involved.
2 fire engines are on scene alongside Police and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service. They were mobilised at around 11:40.
Newport Road remains open in both directions with the incident having occurred off the public highway.
UPDATE @ 12:30 – The incident isn’t as serious as first feared, resulting in the fire service being stood down.
1 person has been left in the care of paramedics.

Where does it say in the report about it being a Being a boy racer !!or any indication of how it occurred , there are many reasons to why this may of happened . Thankfully all appear to be ok
