Wightlink Ferries were delighted to welcome little Chelsea Turner onboard at the start of a magical journey to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park in the New Forest.
Marketing Manager Mark Persad met the 3-year-old and her family earlier in the year after winning a courageous child award. Chelsea was born 11 weeks early and has extensive brain damage – her family have now launched a charity Chelsea’s Wishes to help make her life better and to support other Island children in similar situations.
Mark said:
“We wanted to do our bit to give Chelsea and her family a day to remember. As she is a great fan of Peppa Pig, we thought a trip to Paultons Park in the New Forest would be a good idea, so arranged for a special day out for them all.”
Captain David Blake welcomed the Turners on board and treated them to a visit to the Bridge.
Chelsea’s Mum Angie Turner adds:
“Everyone enjoyed their day out, they treated us like VIPs on the ferry and Chelsea loved going on the rides at Peppa Pig World.”
