Police and paramedics are in attendance at a road traffic incident involving a motorcyclist in Ryde tonight (Tuesday).
The incident has occurred on St John’s Road at the junction with Benett Street, with 2 ambulances from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service on scene alongside local Police units.
Paramedics are currently checking over the rider of a 50cc scooter, which has been propped up against a wall.
It’s unclear what has led to the injuries being sustained and whether any other vehicles have been involved.
The road remains open in both directions.
