Residents in Northwood near Cowes may find they are without water tonight (Tuesday) as a result of a burst main in the area.
Southern Water say they have engineers on site at Nodes Road where an issue has been discovered.
It is expected that supplies should be restored to properties in the local vicinity during the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Customers may find that their water is discoloured or that they have low pressure. This is normal and is to be expected following a burst water main.
Southern Water would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
