UPDATED: Emergency services are dealing with a road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles on Medina Way in Newport this evening (Wednesday).
The incident has occurred at the southbound slipway coming off of Riverway onto the dual carriageway.
No one is thought to be seriously injured at this stage and all vehicles have remained on all 4 wheels.
At least 2 vehicles have sustained significant damage, with potentially another 2 vehicles also involved.
A number of Police units are in attendance alongside the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
UPDATE @ 18:35 – It has been confirmed that 3 vehicles have been involved in the crash.
Island Roads have been called to the scene to clear oil and debris from the carriageway.
No one has been injured.
