Motorists have once again been put at risk as a result of a thief or thieves stealing batteries from temporary traffic lights.
At some point between 16:00 yesterday (Monday) and 09:00 this morning a number of batteries were taken from lights situated on Merstone Lane near Rookley.
The yellow and black ‘Shield’ batteries, which belong to HSS Hire Traffic Management, are fairly distinctive.
Police have been notified of the incident and are investigating.
