HM Coastguard and Police were involved in the search for a man who went missing from the area of Ventnor Harbour yesterday evening (Saturday).
Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team were called out at just gone 17:30 following reports that a man hadn’t been seen in over 2 hours.
The assistance of the Police and The Needles Coastguard Rescue Team was requested at around 18:10, but the man was found safe and well whilst additional resources made their way to the scene.
The man had been missing for a total of 3 hours.
