A 36-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after colliding with 2 stationary vehicles in a residential street in Binstead yesterday evening (Saturday).
Officers were notified of a collision involving a Renault Kadjar on Wellington Road at around 23:00. Officers attended the scene where 2 vehicles had been damaged, with significant front-end damage to a black Ford.
Craig Smith, of Dame Anthonys Close in Binstead, has since been arrested and charged with driving a car when his alcohol level was above the legal limit.
He will appear before Island Magistrates on Tuesday 31st August.
